Privacy and cookies

BAR Fight works whether you accept or reject optional analytics.

What we measure if you accept

If you choose Accept optional analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how many people use BAR Fight, which sections they visit and which tools work well. We do not load the Google tag, send analytics requests or set analytics cookies before you accept.

GA4 receives a generic page category, a broad referring website, browser and device information, approximate region, visit timing and a random browser identifier stored in first-party analytics cookies. Google receives network information, including your IP address, when your browser contacts its service. Google processes this information under its own privacy policies.

We count a small set of actions: starting or finishing a comparison or statistics question, generic failures, creating a share, downloading the widget and changing ranking filters. Action details are limited to fixed categories and elapsed time.

We do not send player or map names, player account IDs, saved report IDs, search text, statistics inputs, contact messages, email addresses or full error messages to analytics. Page addresses omit queries, fragments and identifying path parts; page titles use fixed categories. Advertising features, Google signals and user-ID tracking are disabled.
